The universe of famous writer Maurice Sendak came alive during the Highland Park Public living room final week during the opening of the latest exhibit, “In the Nutshell: The Worlds of Maurice Sendak.”
The exhibit, which highlights Sendak’s array of renouned children’s books, headlined by the 1963 classical “Where the Wild Things Are,” non-stop May nineteen to the throng which neared 80 guests.
